Richmond Chambers at the London Legal Walk 2018
Richmond Chambers will be taking part in the 10k London Legal Walk for justice on Monday 21 May 2018.
Our team will join Lord Burnett the Lord Chief Justice, Lady Hale the President of the Supreme Court and thousands of other judges, lawyers and legal representatives who are walking to raise funds for the London Legal Support Trust.
The funds raised will go towards supporting free legal advice for the vulnerable through Law Centres, Citizens Advice Bureaux, pro bono agencies and charities in London and the South East of England. Many of the organisations supported by these funds provide access to justice, for immigrants with limited resources and include Asylum Aid, BID (Bail for Immigration Detainees), UKLGIG (UK Lesbian and Gay Immigration Group), Southern London Refugee Association, Barnet Refugee Service, Slough Immigration Aid Unit, Notre Dame Refugee Centre, Lewisham Refugee & Migrant Network, Hackney Migrant Centre, Haringey Migrant Support Centre and the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants.
Last year, 12,000 people walked 10k for justice and raised £800,000.
