  • Practice:

    Rosanna has extensive experience supporting our immigration barristers in preparing a wide range of personal and business immigration applications, as well as appeals. Her expertise includes visa applications under Appendix FM, the EU Settlement Scheme, the Private Life route, the Global Talent route, Business routes, and Asylum and Human Rights claims.

    She has contributed to the preparation of applications across various categories, including partner, adult dependent relative, sponsor licences, skilled worker, visitor, global talent, graduate, long residence, returning resident, no time limit, settlement, naturalisation, and registration applications. Additionally, she has helped to prepare appeals for cases involving the adult dependent relative route, partner route, and asylum.

  • Experience:

    Before joining Richmond Chambers, Rosanna worked as a Private Client Paralegal at a Solicitors firm, where she helped assist vulnerable and elderly clients with Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate. She also completed a work experience with a Family Law McKenzie Friend organisation,  assisting with divorce casework and legal research. 

    Additionally, Rosanna has marshalled an Immigration and Asylum First-Tier Tribunal Judge, and completed work experience at a Human Rights Solicitor Firm, which included attending a 2-day judicial review which challenged the legality of a legislative provision on human rights grounds in the Administrative court. 

    In her spare time, Rosanna volunteers with several organisations, including the Waterloo Legal Advice Service, the Wycombe Refugee Partnership, and Go Dharmic. Additionally, Rosanna has volunteered at underprivileged schools in Sri Lanka, where she taught mathematics, literacy, and English to children, including those with learning difficulties.
