Prior to joining Richmond Chambers, Grace worked as a volunteer caseworker at Bail for Immigration Detainees (BID), where she advised clients in prison and immigration detention centres on issues relating to immigration bail. Grace also prepared bail applications, including legal submissions, for clients representing themselves at bail hearings in the Immigration Tribunals.
Grace first developed an interest immigration and asylum law while volunteering with Refugee Aid Serbia and the Asylum Protection Centre in Belgrade during the European refugee crisis. She also has a background in Indigenous and post-colonial studies, and worked as a research assistant for the Tlicho Government, an Indigenous government in the Northwest Territories of Canada.
