Alexandra has over 20 years experience in UK immigration law specialising in personal migration and is the head of Richmond Chambers’ personal immigration team.
Possessing an excellent track record as a specialist immigration barrister, with clients based both in the UK and overseas, Alexandra’s practice covers all aspects of personal immigration law, including visa applications for family members of settled persons (including partners, children and adult dependant relatives), students, visitors, EEA nationals and their family members and skilled workers. She also provides in-depth advice on complex settlement, nationality, human rights and asylum issues.
Experienced in challenging decisions of the Home Office, Alexandra regularly represents clients before the Immigration and Asylum Chamber (First-Tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal), High Court and Court of Appeal in both immigration appeals and judicial review matters. Her broad knowledge of immigration law and policy, combined with her 16 years experience as an advocate, means that she is able to achieve the best possible outcomes for her clients.
