Richmond Chambers LLP is an innovative partnership of specialist immigration barristers and other immigration law professionals who share a core commitment to providing high quality immigration law advice and representation directly to members of the public. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and highly motivated paralegal to join our immigration team, with a potential route to pupillage.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our barristers and will be exposed to the full range of private client immigration work, in addition to some business immigration work, in both initial applications, appeals and judicial reviews.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Providing casework support and assistance to our immigration barristers;
• Building relationships with new and existing clients;
• General case-related administrative support as required.
The ideal candidate will have completed (or nearly completed) the BPTC/LPC, have previous immigration law experience and be committed to pursuing a career in immigration law. An excellent academic background, knowledge of recent developments in immigration law and effective IT skills will be essential, as will an ability to develop strong client relationships. You will be equally comfortable working independently using your own initiative, as well as within a team, and be able to work to deadlines with a high degree of accuracy. An OISC/IAAS accreditation is desirable but not essential. Fluency in either Mandarin or Russian will be an advantage but is not required.

Salary: £15,000 to £25,000 depending on experience + benefits + potential pupillage
