Alex has built significant experience across our Business and Personal teams.
On the personal side, Alex has worked on a broad range of cases, including applications, appeals, administrative reviews and Judicial Reviews in cases advanced under Appendix FM, the EU Settlement Scheme, Human Rights claims, Appendix Victim of Domestic Abuse, Appendix Visitor, and Asylum and Human Rights Claims.
Alex has also worked on Sponsor Licence applications and visa applications for Skilled Workers and their dependants. He particularly enjoys matters relating to sole responsibility and exceptional and compelling circumstances at the intersection where family rights overlap with business needs.
Alex is passionate about working on cases involving suitability issues in both immigration and nationality contexts. He is particularly interested in human rights claims based on the right to Family and Private Life under Article 8 of the ECHR. He has experience in these matters assisting on a variety of applications, as well as in appeals before the First-tier and Upper Tribunal following refusals of such applications and in Deportation proceedings.
Since starting his Second Six of Pupillage, Alex has become an experienced Tribunal advocate and accepts solicitor instructions at all stages of appeals, bail and Judicial Reviews.
