    Since joining Richmond Chambers, Lucy has assisted our immigration barristers with a variety of Appendix FM, complex leave to remain and nationality applications.

  • Experience:

    Before joining Richmond Chambers, Lucy worked as a paralegal at a leading firm of Immigration Solicitors. Lucy worked across their Private Client, Corporate, and Human Rights & Extradition teams.

    Lucy has also worked as a self-employed County Court Advocate accepting instructions through a firm of solicitors. She represented clients in the County Courts across London and the South East in matters ranging from landlord and tenant disputes, infant settlement hearings, and road traffic accident small claims.

    Whilst undertaking the BPTC, Lucy volunteered at the Immigration Tribunal, attending asylum and immigration appeals, offering support to litigants in person who were unrepresented.

    Lucy represented BPP University in an international mooting competition in Nuremberg. Lucy and her team mooted in Courtroom 600, where the Nuremberg Trials against the major Nazi war criminals took place.

    Lucy also worked as a paralegal at a firm of Solicitors in Nottingham,  representing unaccompanied minors and unlawfully detained persons. Whilst working there Lucy also worked on the Independent Inquiry into Historic Child Sexual Abuse.
