  • Practice:

    Edward assists our immigration barristers with preparing applications and casework support across Chambers’ personal and business immigration specialisms. He has used his cyber security background to help digital technology clients demonstrate their technical and business skills in applications made under the Global Talent visa route.

  • Experience:

    Edward was a member of the Children’s Advice Project at the Refugee Council, advocating for unaccompanied minors seeking asylum in the UK. He has represented lay clients in school exclusion hearings, and in Employment Tribunal cases with the Free Representation Unit.

    With an interest in international human rights law, Edward was part of an international trial observation for the ’12 Apostles’ case in Medellín, Colombia. He also provided research and interpreting support for a leading QC during a mediation project in a militarised region of Colombia.

    Before pursuing a legal career Edward worked in the information security industry, specialising in cybercrime and data protection issues. He advised C-level executives, and worked within data science, security engineering, and product teams during his time as a strategy analyst for a cyber threat intelligence start-up.
